The entire Harry Potter series, both in the form of books and films, has gained immense popularity all over the world. Even though it’s been 11 years since the last installment ( Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2) , fans keep coming back to it. In 2016, there was even a theater production ( Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) and a spin-off ( Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them). However, they did not gain such recognition among lovers of stories about an exceptional boy.
David Zaslav said that over the past 25 years, the Harry Potter films have made a big profit for the company. He also expressed his willingness to work again with JK Rowling (author of the books) in a possible continuation of the saga.
A similar position is taken by Sarah Audrey, who was interviewed by Variety . Unfortunately, when asked about HBO’s work on the show, she replied that no steps had been taken at the moment. However, she still expresses her strong desire to create something new for fans of the Hogwarts Wizarding stories.
