The Pixar and Disney Lightyear animation tells the story of the astronaut who inspired us to create the well-known toy from Toy Story . Buzz Lightyear, a young pilot will be sent into space on an important mission. He will become a Space Ranger, accompanied by a small robot cat. Lightyear is an animated sci-fi movie, but as we saw in the trailer, it’s going to have a lot of humor.
In the trailer, we can hear Chris Evans’ voice. The actor known for his role as Captain America lent his voice to Buzz. However, not all fans are satisfied with the fact that he will replace Tim Allen. Łukasz Nowicki will reappear as the main character in the Polish dubbing version. The production director was Angus MacLane, and the cast will also include Keke Palmer, Taika Waititi, Dale Soules and Uzo Aduba.
The premiere of Lightyear is scheduled for June 17 this year, as confirmed by Pixar in the latest poster.
