At the beginning it is worth noting that the publishing house has never lacked funds for the BRZRKR series in the form of notebooks. The classic method of distribution through stores and bookstores was the basis for them from the beginning. So what was the purpose of the collection? The idea was to finance special mass editions, the sale of which will start next year. Anyone who has paid a minimum of $ 50 through Kickstarter has secured their own copies of the above-mentioned editions in the form of a pre-order.
The target amount has been set at $ 50,000. Certainly, no one will be surprised by the news that the project, co-created by such a movie star as Keanu Reeves, quickly raised the necessary funds. Moreover, at the time of writing this article, the goal has been exceeded more than seven times! That means over $ 350,000 in approximately 24 hours. Less than a month is left to the end of the collection, and the additional money collected during this time will unlock new bonuses for donors.
BRZRKR will tell the story of the immortal warrior demigod. For centuries, he has been traveling the world taking part in numerous armed conflicts. Nowadays, the main character cooperates with the American government in exchange for information about his origin.
In addition to Reeves, co-writer Matt Kindt, cartoonist Ron Garney, and colorist Bill Crabtree are also working on the comic, and Clem Robins is responsible for the writing. The first of the twelve issues of the series will go on sale at the beginning of October this year.
