Bruce Campbell could play a mysterious role in the new “Doctor Strange” movie

Dead Evil  star Bruce Campbell has been teasing fans for a long time and announces his participation in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The actor once again does not reveal who will he play, but in the last interview he stated that he would stand at the side of one of the characters beloved by fans.

Campbell, during a meeting at a convention sponsored by Armed Forces Entertainment, he was very eager to talk to fans who asked him a lot of questions, including a few about the new MCU movie. Among those questions was one about his role in the movie, and the actor himself confirmed that he was shooting scenes for a Marvel movie and revealed that he made “a cool scene with a character who has been adored for years.”

It is unknown who this “beloved” character is, but there are some strong contenders. Perhaps it’s about Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), who has grown in popularity, especially since the release of the WandaVision serieson Disney + last year. It’s also possible that Campbell may be referring to Wong (Benedict Wong) who also turned out to be a much-liked character in the MCU despite having a more supporting role. There is also a possibility that Campbell may be referring to a character who has yet to be confirmed in the film, including, for example, the character played by Patrick Stewart, whose voice appeared in a scene revealed in the film’s final trailer. It is also worth adding that it is not known who Campbell himself would play. Recall that the actor has already had contact with Marvel films – he appeared in all three parts of Spider-Man directed by Sam Raimi, but each time he played a different character and it was more of a cameo than a specific role. It will probably be the same this time. Bruce, in turn, about his role said:

I can answer that, but only in a weird way. Am I in Doctor Strange 2? The strange answer is … linoleum.

Last year, on April Fool’s Day, the actor even joked that in the film Stephen Strange he would meet Ash from Dead Evil himself . Many fans believe that it wasn’t just a joke at all.

It’s also worth adding that in the recent Doctor Strange: in the multiverse of madness trailer, the scene revealed that the title character, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, is being captured in front of a group of mysterious characters, one of which sounds very much like Patrick Stewart, the legendary actor who played Charles Xavier in the X-Men movies . However, while fans were excited about the actor’s return to the role of Professor X, Stewart himself shyly stated that someone else was using his voice and not him who did not appear in the film.

You know, people have been imitating my voice since I came on the scene 60 years ago. So I can’t be responsible for that. Said Stewart.

How will it really be? We will find out in May.
