The Templeton brothers – Tim and his little brother Ted – grew up and drifted apart. Tim is now married and a father. Ted is the president of a hedge fund.
I am a huge fan of Boss Baby and his older brother from the very first movie. After the Netflix production series, I stayed longer, so the information about the second part of the cinema production made me incredibly happy.
The story begins with Templeton explaining what happened and who he became. In addition, we learn that he has a family – a wife and two children. He talks about events in his childish style, through imaginary situations. I like that this aspect was not missing in the film, it was always an amazing variety to the plot.
The actual action, however, begins after meeting the magic alarm clock accompanying Tim when he was not yet an adult. It turned out that his younger daughter is an employee of the corporation where her uncle used to work! And it is he and his brother who must save Baby Corp!
The animation is pleasing to the eye – just like the previous ones. Not much is happening on the screen, although it is colorful, which will definitely interest children.
I was glad that not only the fate of the Templeton family were shown, but also supporting characters from the film and the series. Jimbo, Stacy and the Triplets were mentioned.
Although the film is aimed at younger audiences, I’m sure the older ones will also feel comfortable watching. Production shows how much can change as you grow up. The whole thing shows how important family ties are and that even work cannot stand above it.
When it comes to additions to the DVD version , they are a very interesting diversion. However, only one is in the full Polish version, the others have Polish subtitles, which may be a problem for a child. Parents definitely have to come with help.
