The details of the film were shared by Penn Jillette, an American magician, actor, writer and TV presenter. In one of the episodes of his podcast, he confirmed his participation in the production of Borderlands . His role will be episodic, so he will spend only three weeks on the set. However, this did not prevent him from revealing in which scenes he will participate:
I am a judge of peace, a preacher trying to hold a wedding ceremony that will be interrupted by the fight scene. So I will be present throughout the fight scene just by standing by. Then I walk in and press a button on the stage. Later, along with Kevin Hart, I’m in a space vehicle.
In addition, Jillette also mentioned other actors with whom he will be working that have already been confirmed to be involved in the production. The aforementioned Kevin Hart will play the role of Roland, Jamie Lee Curtis will be Tannis and Cate Blanchett Lilith. The cast also includes Gina Gershon as Moxxi, Cheyenne Jackson as Jakobs, Ryann Redmond as Ellie and Bobby Lee as Larry – a new character in history.
