The next edition of BlizzCon is behind us. This year, due to the prevailing difficulties, the event took the form of a remote one. This does not mean, however, that there was no announcement from the popular producer. Significant news was the announcement of Diablo II: Resurrected , a refreshed edition of the classic hack ‘n’ slash. The release will offer the content of the original and the addition Lord of Destruction in a completely new graphic design. What’s more, the title will also hit consoles, offering the option of joint recording on different platforms. Moreover, Blizzard has confirmed support for mods. Vicarious Visions studio, known for its highly acclaimed remakes of Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series, is responsible for the production . The game is expected to be released by the end of this year.
With Diablo fans in mind, new material from the upcoming, fourth installment of the series was also presented. The trailer is dedicated to the next class of characters.
New content is waiting for Hearthstone players . The Year of the Griffin begins with an all-new base set designed to shake up gameplay, and a classic format debut that will allow players to engage in card duels using the original card sets from 2014, when fresh Hearthstone celebrated its first triumphs in popularity. Soon, a new expansion, Hardened by the Wastes , dedicated to the famous area from the world of World of Warcraft, will be added to the game .
New content will also go to the MMO World of Warcraft . Blizzard has announced Chains of Domination , the first major update to the Shadowlands expansion . The special edition of World of Warcraft Clasic will be enriched with the famous Burning Crusade expansion .
A curiosity was the announcement of the Blizzard Arcade Collection . This is a compilation of classic Lost Viking s, Rock N Roll Racing and Blackthorne games (created before the first Warcraft ) in versions adapted to new PCs and consoles.
