The Frost Blade is hungry ... A new class will be added to Hearthstone in the new Lich King's March expansion, the Death Knight! Watch Arthas Menethil become the iconic Warcraft villain , the Lich King, in the Death Knight Prologue. With an all-new 203 cards featuring a new death knight class, a new type of Undead minion, and the Manomania keyword, we'll be providing players with the most diverse gameplay and deck-building options ever available to Hearthstone .
A NEW CLASS: THE DEATH KNIGHT
- 68 new class cards, including 32 free cards from the base set
- Hero Power: Ghoul Charge
- Summon a 1/1 Ghul with Charge that dies at the end of the turn.
- New Resource: Dead Men
- Each time a friendly minion dies, it counts as a corpse.
- Deck Building System: Runes
- Blood for gameplay control and health manipulation.
- Ice that deals direct damage with frost spells.
- Curses that summon lots of minions to the board.
A NEW END: THE FATHER OF THE KING LISE
- New minion type: Undead
- Now you can easily identify your undead minions!
- Hundreds of minions from previous expansions have been updated with the Undead type.
- New keyword: Manomania
- Cards have additional powers when a player has enough Mana Crystals to activate an effect.
- No mana consumption is required to activate the additional effect.
EVENT SYSTEM Rework
- Events will now have their own place in the Hearthstone interface .
- When an event is active, the log button changes. The prizes also have a designated place in the journal.
- The Knights of the Hallows event has already started and will last for two weeks! We will bring all Frozen Throne Knights cards back to Standard until the release of The Lich King’s March!
