Already in February, the world of “Blade Runner” will expand by another chapter. This time it will be a comic book that is a prequel to the entire universe. The publisher presented a trailer promoting the title.
Action Blade Runner Origins play will be 10 years before the events known from the cult Blade Runner , Ridley Scott. The main character of the comic book is a detective from the Los Angeles Police Department. He is investigating the murder of a scientist working for Tyrell Corporation, who threatened his employers with revealing secrets dangerous to the company. The series is written by Mike Johnson, K. Perkins, and Mellow Brown. The graphic side of the comic is handled by Fernando Dagnino. The authors of the special cover variants are Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, Peach Momoko and Robert Hack. The US premiere of Blade Runner Origins is scheduled for February 24th.
This is not the first comic book series set in the famous cyberpunk world. Currently, the Blade Runner 2029 series is also released, taking place between the events of Android Hunter and Blade Runner 2049 . Stories from a futuristic dystopian world are based on the novel by Philip K. Dick – Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
