The character actually looks similar to the original legendary ruler from the 1960s, has the same outfit, the same colors, the silhouette is also correct. Another confirmation of the rumors is Marvel’s response to why we did not see Namor in the Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the multiverse of insanity . Writer Michael Waldron confessed that the studio has completely different plans for this character in the MCU:
