This time, he surprised his followers with a Total Film cover photo , which he stars as Black Adam. You can only see half of his face, a bit of a hood, but Dwayne Johnson’s eyes shine with a distinctive yellow light. The character that The Rock will play is the superhero Teth-Adam, an ancient Egyptian and Shazam’s opponent.
Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi and Pierce Brosnan will also star in the cast of Black Adam . The film was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and is slated to hit theaters on July 29, 2022.
