Netflix surprised all fans of “The Witcher”. Henry Cavill will not play Geralt in season four of the series and we already know the name of his successor.
To everyone’s surprise, Henry Cavill will not return as Geralt in season four of The Witcher . Netflix has announced that he will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth. Nothing foreshadowed such a drastic change in the series. Both Cavill and Hemsworth have already posted their statements on Instagram.
Unfortunately, in the entries of both men, one thing is missing – the reason for this change. Considering how much Henry Cavill loves the world from Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, the whole situation seems to be illogical. A possible reason for the departure of the current actor of the role of Geralt is probably the recent declaration of the actor’s return to DC. Cavill is set to play Superman again in the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel , and possibly other projects in the universe as well.
Work is still in progress on the third season of The Witcher , which should debut next summer. There is currently no information when we can expect the fourth season.
