Berserk’s creator , Kentaro Miura, died just before the twisted tale of the Hawk’s Band was completed. Wanting to conclude the story of Guts, Casca and Griffith and their dark world, writer Kouji Mori and the artists of Studio Gaga regularly create new chapters of the manga to introduce new, dark stories to the series’ resume. After a summer break since the publication of Young Animal, a new release date for Berserk chapter 374 has appeared online , informing manga fans when Guts’ story will continue.
When we last left Guts and his hodgepodge of adventurers, the Black Swordsman’s situation was looking dire once again. While Guts eventually managed to restore Casca’s sanity thanks to the magic wielders of Elfhelm, their reunion was short-lived. Griffith and his terrifying new gang have launched an attack on the mystical place. The supernatural beings, who had proven to be some of Guts’ strongest allies to date, were wiped out, and Griffith himself took the opportunity to kidnap Casca, leaving the manga hero struggling with what to do next. Doubting himself and his sword in the upcoming fight, Berserk continues to lay the groundwork for a Griffith/Guts rematch that could end the series.

The great return of Berserk
The next installment will also feature a colorful side of the story as Guts struggles with what to do next. As Griffith continues to amass power across the world, the situation for our dark heroes continues to look dire.
Following Berserk: Memorial Edition, the dark series has yet to confirm whether or not a new anime adaptation is on the horizon . If the anime series continues, there are many storylines from the manga that have yet to be brought to the small screen. Given the popularity of the series, it may only be a matter of time before the Black Swordsman re-enters the world of anime.
