“Sherlock “ creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss have co-created a new miniseries “Dracula “ starring Claes Bang. Check out the first trailer!
The BBC and Netflix unveil the trailer for the new Dracula miniseries from Sherlock creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. The main role is played by Claes Bang (known from the movie The Square ). The series will consist of three parts. It tells the story of Count Dracula based on the novel by Bram Stoker. The action will take place in 1897, when the vampire traveled from Transylvania to Victorian London.
The supporting cast includes John Heffernan ( Eye in the Sky ), Joanna Scanlan ( No Offense ), Dolly Wells ( Pride and Prejudice and Zombie ), Sacha Dhawan ( Iron Fist ), Jonathan Aris ( Morgan ), Morfydd Clark ( Pride and Prejudice and Zombies ), Nathan Stewart-Jarrett ( Misfits ), Lyndsey Marshal ( League of Gentlemen ), Chanel Cresswell ( That’s England ), Matthew Beard ( Ex- girlfriend ), Lydia West ( Years & Years ), Paul Brennen ( Happy Valley ) , Sarah Niles ( Catastrophe ), Sofia Oxenham (Poldark: Winds of Fate ), John McCrea ( Beautiful Country ), Phil Dunster ( Humans ) and Millicent Wong.
The premiere of the series will probably be this year, but the exact date is not yet known.
