The Witcher prequel is set to debut on Netflix later this year. Earlier there were rumors that it would be sometime around Christmas. Officially, the production will consist of 6 episodes, but the new report assumes that this may have changed.
According to Redanian Intelligence, Netflix has shortened The Witcher : Bloodline series from 6 episodes to 4 episodes. The report says the first and last episodes have remained intact, while the middle four have been merged into two. It was also added that Joey Batey’s Dandelion is to have more screen time than previously assumed.
So far, Netflix has not confirmed any of this information. The report, however, bases its source on the fact that the creators cut material that turned out to be poor in order to be as close as possible to the Polish version.
