“Back to the Future” on the pages of the manga

For fans of cinema and Japanese comics, we have good news – one of the most-loved films in history will be redrawn into manga panels.

Although 36 years have passed since the premiere of Back to the Future , the film and its sequels steal hearts anew and evoke many fond memories. Robert Zemeckis’ productions have garnered many good reviews and are still the films we will not miss when we accidentally come across them while jumping through the sewers.

Three years ago, information about the Back to the Future manga appeared . While the concept sketch and cover design were ready, the venture was not materialized by copyright. Yusuke Murata, the creator of the world bestseller One-Punch Man, was to be responsible for the comic .

In the end, the illustrations drawn with a beautiful line are in the hands of a popular freelance illustrator in Japan – Zerogo Iwamoto, also known on the Internet as Kaitenroji. If you want to preview the artist’s work before releasing the manga adaptation of the film, you can check them out on the official Kaitenroji website .

The text will be created by Ichiro Omiya and it will be aimed mainly at children. The authors want to bring the story of Back to the Future to a younger audience, although I’m sure that everyone, regardless of age, will have a great time reading the manga based on the cult film.
