The cast of Avatar: Legends of Aang has grown again. This time we got to know the names of five actresses who will appear in the series. The role of Princess Azula, daughter of the Fire Lord Ozai, was taken by Elizabeth Yu. In the animated series, Zuko’s younger sister was an extremely gifted fire mage, perfectionist, and she strove for power over the dead.
Kyoshi, Avatar from the Earth Kingdom will be played by Yvonne Chapman. The role of Suki, leader of the fighting team on Kyoshi Island, was given to Maria Zhang. Her mother will be played by Tamlyn Tomita. And beloved Gran Gran, grandmother of Katara and Sokka – Casey Camp-Horinek.
They will join Gordon Cormier (Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara), Ian Ouselu (Sokka) and Dallas Liu (Zuko). Albert Kim will be the showrunner, executive producer and writer of the series, the release date of which is yet to be known.
