The title was announced by Square Enix in one of its recent twitts. The entry itself was mainly about the opening of a new studio that will take care of the game – Square Enix London Mobile. The production will be released only on mobile platforms and will be developed in cooperation with Navigator Games ( Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast ). No information about the release date yet.
In addition to Avatar, the London studio is also to do a new installment of Tomb Raider , announced some time ago . The production with the subtitle Reloaded is largely based on the original trilogy. The title was originally scheduled to be released this year, but was eventually postponed to an unspecified date in 2022.
Coming back to Avatar, we do not know what style of gameplay the creators will choose. The title is to be based on the free-to-play model, which can serve as a hint about potential solutions.
