At the beginning of the new year, we can expect the return of the popular anime series.
The news of the series’ return came from Dante Basco’s Twitter account. The fans are absolutely delighted with this turn of events. The last year has been very progressive in terms of fandom development. The fact that Netflix included the entire series on its website contributed especially to this. After Basco’s entry, Jack de Sena (Sokka), Gray Griffin (Azula), Olivia Hack (Ty Lee), Cricket Leigh (Mai_, Jennie Kwan (Princess Suki)) and Michael Murphy (Toph) joined the series’ teaser. Fans are rightly excited because the announcement on January 9 looks promising.
Basque Tweet:
Basco himself in an interview for Comicbook.com did not hide his surprise with the sudden interest in the series during the holidays.
“I think it exploded out of nowhere, which is great and unexpected,” explained Basco. “But it really shows: first the power of Netflix and second the power of a really good project that lasted for years and could be even more popular than at the beginning.”
