Seven and a half years after its launch, Assassin’s Creed, set in Victorian London, is getting an update. It is to fix a bug in the PlayStation 4 version.
The new patch aims to fix graphical problems when launching the game on PlayStation 5. As you know, the latest Sony console supports backward compatibility for most titles from the “four” series, including the Ubisoft series. Unfortunately, Syndicate (and only this part) has a bug that causes quite intense flickering of lighting. Fans have been paying attention to this for a long time, and finally the problem has been fixed.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is the last installment of the series before Ubisoft decided to switch to the form of a modern RPG. The game, although positively received, was not a huge hit. Unfortunately, the worse sales results could have been influenced by the previous part – Unity – which was one of the most bugged games in history.
Update 1.53 is expected to be available from February 23rd.
