Pre-sale of the next installment of Assassin's Creed has started in one of the German stores . Could the rumors from the beginning of the year be confirmed?
In February this year, for the first time, we heard rumors about Assassin’s Creed: Legion , a game that is to be the culmination of the “ancient trilogy” Assassin’s Creed . According to reports, the title would take players to Italy under Commodus rule. As in Odyssey, it would be possible to complete the campaign with one of the two heroes – Cassius or Lucia, who are descendants of Origins and Odyssey .
Naturally, unofficial reports are rarely reflected in reality, so one should approach the above rumors with a very large distance. However, there are two factors in favor of the AC: Legion leaks . First of all, Ubisoft is clearly unlucky to keep the next installments of Assassin’s Creed a secret, and shortly before the official announcement of most of the parts, there were leaks on the Internet that usually worked. What’s more, the pre-orders of Assassin’s Creed: Legion – Day 1 Edition have started in the German gameware.at store . It is possible that the website administrators simply entered the offer too early. What’s more, it is not an ordinary place holderand made efforts to prepare a well-designed logo of the game. We can see in it, among other things, bay leaves, which would suit the setting of the action in the areas of the Roman empire.
Ubisoft has not yet addressed the incident in the store. It wouldn’t be surprising, however, if the next Assassin’s Creed installment is announced soon . Recently, Ubisoft announced that the last major update for Odyssey will be released in October, thus ending support for the title. The company can therefore prepare the media ground for continuation.
