Netflix announced today that it will be making a live-action series set in the world of “Assassin’s Creed,” but that’s not all. Shortly after that, information about the next production based on games from Ubisoft was announced. This time it’s about animation.
The Deadline website was the first to inform about it. According to that report, Netflix, in addition to the acting series, will also produce anime about the struggle of Assassins and Templars. Unfortunately, in the case of this adaptation, even less is known than the actor’s image.
Netflix and Ubisoft have entered into a large cooperation agreement. On its basis, the streaming giant will be able to create various productions set in the world of Assassin’s Creed . Among the listed types of series and movies are acting images, anime and other types of animation.
Ubisoft is known to use media other than games to tell the story of Assassins. Among others, several comic book series, novels, as well as various short productions. Of course, you cannot forget about the movie with Michael Fassbender, which, however, did not live up to the expectations of the fans. Until now, all the works have been related to each other in terms of plots. It is not known whether Netflix will uphold this tradition.
So far, there is no information about when we will see any of the announced productions.
