In the 25 years since the premiere of the Pokemon series, Ash Ketchum has met many friends and rivals along the way. The Pokemon: Journeys series , which you can watch e.g. on Netflix , has already brought back some of them and gave the opportunity for more touching meetings that fans have really been waiting for . However, the creators left the best for last.
In the next two specials, we get to see Ash’s two companions who hiked with him at the very beginning of his journey. Viewers following the series on an ongoing basis had the opportunity to meet Misty again. Now the trio will also be completed with Brock, and his return was announced in a special trailer:
The special episode is set to be titled “Brock, Cilan and the Forest Witch!” which reveals to us the return of one more famous hero. Here is its official synopsis:
Ash and Pikachu reunite with their former traveling companions Brock and Cilan. However, Brock seems to be terribly depressed as he just lost his love. Suddenly, a wild Hatterine kidnaps Brock for unknown reasons. Can Ash, Misty and Cilan bring him back?
The episode will premiere on January 27.
