Another adventures in the smurf world – a review of comics “Cosmosmerf” and “Smurfs and the snowstorm”

Stories about little blue creatures are popular among small and large audiences. Getting to know the adventures of friends from the Smurfs Village, we not only feel satisfaction, but also have a great time. We have two volumes ahead of us today – Cosmosmerf and Smurfs and Snowstorm .

The plot of comics usually summarizes one or several days in the life of the Smurfs. In a world full of colors, we can admire what life is like in friendship, respect and love. As you may remember, Smurfs were invented by Belgian screenwriter and graphic artist Pierre Culliford (Peyo). His comic book offers were adapted to the needs of films about the adventures of blue gnomes. Currently, many volumes are created thanks to the actions of the artist’s successors, including his son, Thierry.

Kosmosmerf – 2 in 1 for demanding customers

Smurf dreams of a flight into space seem impossible. So when one of the inhabitants of the Smurf Village starts talking about his need to explore different planets and even build a spaceship, it gets really scary. A crazy desire, however, is not so easy to achieve without the help of friends. Perhaps this is an impossible mission. You can be sure of one thing – cooperation will bring surprising results to the heroes! The second story, also included in the Kosmosmerf volume , focuses on the implementation of the technological assumption of Pracusia. He invents a device to control the weather. Harnessing the forces of nature is not easy, however, when each of the characters expects an ideal climate for himself. Whoever wants to rule the wind should expect a storm!

The Smurfs and the snowstorm – longing for winter

The next volume consists of one story – The Smurfs and the Snowstorm . Winter is here, preserves have been made, and so are supplies. The blue heroes now have to face not necessarily friendly weather conditions. Snow and storms are not their friends, on the contrary – they effectively make their lives difficult and, worse, damage the Smurf Village. The situation becomes more complicated when a few friends set off to play too far to return home in a crisis situation. The most terrible snowstorm in years means a great danger. Will the Smurfs find someone to help them? If so, will they be able to return to the Village without revealing where it is? You will surely find out from the comic!

Tales of fantastic content

The Smurfs picture stories can really please! In addition to the fantastic graphics, there is also a script, and here we have no doubts – the series is a masterpiece! Cosmosmerfa ​​Peyo prepared the Smurf weather changer on his own was created in cooperation with Peyo, Yvan Delporte and Gosa, and Smurfs and snowstormfilled with text and artwork by Alain Joist, Thierry Culliford, Alain Maury and Nine Culliford. The last mentioned volume differs from the previous ones – the title page is colorful and, interestingly, it does not duplicate the cover art. Such a bonus from the developers! The Smurfs stories teach us how to behave, what we shouldn’t do in crisis situations, how to help ourselves, and not to run away from responsibility for our actions. The series is perfect for reading together with children, but if you are adults and like the adventures of blue creatures, you will be delighted no less! I liked both volumes the same and I look forward to the next ones.
