The Parr family form a seemingly normal family with nothing extraordinary about their daily routine. Bob does an extremely boring job at an insurance company, and his wife, Helen, looks after their house in the suburbs, raising three children. Few people know, however, that life together was not always like that. They used to be known as Elastigirl and The Incredible – a pair of extremely talented superheroes who had to change their identities through the conflict of heroes with ordinary people. However, they miss the old customs, just waiting for an opportunity to use their powers again. So when one day Bob receives an unexpected offer to participate in a secret mission as the Incredible, he doesn’t hesitate for a moment.
Both the script for the film and its directing were handled by Brad Bird. The American screenwriter is also known for productions such as Ratatouille and Steel Giant , which also received a positive reaction from fans. The Incredibles received as many as 23 statuettes, 2 of which were Oscars, as well as 24 nominations – including the Oscar and Golden Globe Awards. The production also got a sequel, focusing on the development of the character of Elastigirl. In Poland, the premiere of the film took place on November 19 of the same year.
