The incredibly popular game from Mojang studio has captured the minds of many, and despite the passage of time, it still has a solid and active user group of active fans. Ba! I tried to construct my first wooden hut in this world of blocks, which meant that now I like to return to this production from time to time to build new buildings and connect the resulting cities with a subway network. This time, however, the angular universe wanted to come to me in a material form, in the form of a figure from the Minecraft Squishme series .

This is not a coincidence, because the series includes six different creatures taken alive from Minecraft , and the element of surprise adds a bit of mystery and excitement. The colorful packaging clearly shows us what the collection looks like. An additional flavor is that the chance to get the showpiece of the digital original Creeper is 1:24. I must admit, this is a real gem for collectors. Although the blue color of the explosive monster is surprising, it may be an attempt to reproduce its lightning-charged version. I do not hide, I was hoping to receive this legend, as probably everyone, but I came across quite a nice sea turtle and a cute cow.
The first thing that notices, apart from the impact of the artificial but quite pleasant smell, intensified by the closed climate inside the package, is the size. While in the case of a lactating mammal, the size is not unusual, a reptile only seven centimeters long and slightly narrower is a bit disappointing. It is uncomfortable to squeeze the anti-stress crush (especially in a fit of emotions), which is clearly too small in relation to the hand. The figures, however, are very pleasant to touch and, although a bit sluggish, efficiently return to their standard shape.

Visually, the products look very nice and a bit fairy-tale-like, although they differ a bit from the original. First of all, animals are clearly less angular than their digital version, thanks to which they gain a bit of subtlety and their own character. However, it is less pleasant when we decide to look at the details. The colors don’t quite match the shapes in the crush. They are clearly shifted from where they should be. Worse with the belly of the turtle, where the color is simply stretched in many places, as if someone had not worked hard at their work, and in some places simply – and literally – gave a stain. Comparing the figures to what we see in the game, it is also easy to see a much more modest color palette. One could, of course, ignore the fact that they have at least three times as many shades on the screen, because it is not that important, but the lack of such details as a reptile’s nostrils is difficult to overlook. More economical coloration and less angular shapes make the nice turtle hardly associated withMinecraft , being myself, just such a nice animal to hug. However, this is not a disadvantage that discredits the entire series, but rather a matter of choosing the characters. The cow, although more young, taking into account the proportions, even in spite of similar to the aforementioned discrepancies, is expressive and it is possible to indicate without the slightest difficulty what production it refers to. It is probably the same with the rest of the collection, although I am not sure that the black and white teddy bear will follow in the footsteps of the shell’s bearer. But hey! Who wouldn’t want a panda?
A bit of sloppy workmanship and slight discrepancies from the digital original can be considered flaws, but they are not glaring enough to lose interest in these nice figures. So if you are fans of the hit from Mojang, you want to introduce a bit of angularity on your shelves, or this damn camper, which has no skill , but rides on stuff, pulled you out of hiding again and you have to survive on something, then you should be interested in the Minecraft product Squishme .
