Kit Harington, well known as Jon Snow from Game of Thrones , rejected the offer of becoming a superhero some time ago, but decided to appear in the Eternals . Apparently, Angelina Jolie did the same.
During an interview with CreamOrScream or The Direct, the star revealed that she had declined to become a hero in the past, but did not mention what the title was about. She also explained why she wanted to give Internals a chance:
I don’t usually consider starring in science fiction or superhero movies. Mostly it’s not what I’m looking for. I felt that this production was about something else. It has a well-written story and characters. These people are not Spider-Man or Captain America or the Hulk. Hardcore fans won’t know who the Eternals are . Introducing them all at once won’t be so easy.
Recently, Jolie spoke to Total Film , but didn’t talk about her future in production:
I don’t think I can reveal anything.
When asked if she wanted to give up the role, she said:
Nice try.
During the conversation, she told about the powers of her character Thena:
My strength lies in the ability to materialize weapons in my hands. Lots of training was really fun because we had to figure out how to fight like this.
Eternals was directed by Oscar-winning Chloé Zhao, and the cast will include: Gemma Chan (Sersi), Angelina Jolie (Thena), Richard Madden (Ikaris), Kumail Nanjiani (Kingo), Lia McHugh (Sprite), Lauren Ridloff (Makkari), Brian Tyree Henry (Phastos), Barry Keoghan (Druig), Don Lee (Gilgamesh), Salma Hayek (Ajak), and Kit Harington (Dane Whitman).
In some scenes, I was facing the wall. I am deaf, do you know what I mean? At one point, I shared my frustration with Angie (Angelina Jolie) at a Christmas party the day after shooting. She immediately threw up the idea to use a laser pointer, later it will be easy to remove when adding special effects. At that moment, I heard in my head: Aha, wow. The translators could be drawing circles on the walls or wherever I looked to let me know we’re filming. Something like: action, for a deaf person.
