The fun begins. The cameras are in motion, the actors slowly arrive on set, and the creators have announced the working title of the tenth season of “American Horror Story”.
Nine years have passed since Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk first opened the door to Murder House for us . We’ve come a long way as fans since then, seeing witches, possessions, vampires and even the apocalypse itself. It can be said that our American Horror Story pilgrimage trail takes us through the best of the worst nightmares.
Pilgrim (Pilgrim) – it was under this working title that 20th Television began production of the tenth season of the series.
This does not mean, of course, that we will see the upcoming episodes under this title. AHS is known for its secrecy and keeping its secrets at all costs, even if it means photos under a false name. It would not be the first time – as we remember, the creators decided to take such a step in the past at least several times, shooting, among others, Roanoke as Cul-De-Sac , Cult as Spring Fever or Apocalypse as Radioactive .
Anyway, shooting began the day before yesterday, December 2, 2020. Interestingly, the crew has yet to head to Provincetown, Massachusetts, where the season will take place and is shooting in other locations for now. There are, among others, Lily Rabe.
In the main cast we will see almost all returning names. Almost, because in the tenth season, Macaulay Culkin joins the AHS universe . It is known that his character will be related to the character of Kathy Bates, and we remember from the first interviews that their relationship will probably be rather intimate. In an interview, Culkin says his character is “handsome, well-dressed, and shares 90% of his scenes with Bates.”
In addition, the main cast includes such famous faces as Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Witrock, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Angelica Ross and Adina Porter. Recently, information appeared that Frances Conroy will also make a guest appearance . Although the creators keep repeating that in the tenth season they want to involve as many actors from the first seasons as possible who “helped shape this series as we know it today”, it does not seem as if Jessica Lange would appear in it, which fans would say they counted.
