Ghostbusters (1984)
Disturbing things start to happen in New York – paranormal phenomena are becoming more frequent there. The only people who know this are three extremely bright and somewhat strange parapsychologists at New York University who lost their research grant. Forced to quit scientific work, they set up their own company. They open an office in an old fire station and become Ghostbusters who catch vexing ghosts, spooks, and poltergeists for a fee.

Ghostbusters II (1989)
Big comeback! Four years after their last adventures, former Ghostbusters are banned from practicing their activities. Their job has become running niche talk shows on cable TV and entertaining children at birthday parties. Dana Barrett, after parting ways with Venkman, married another man and bore him a child, but the relationship also fell apart. It is the eight-month-old Oscar, whose wheelchair mysteriously moves by itself that prompts Dana to contact the Ghostbusters. Dana has a strange feeling about her coworker – a bizarre art restorer – and realizes that supernatural forces have invaded her life again … So who is she to call?
