In the post-apocalyptic reality , Ewa fights not only for survival, but also struggles with severe loneliness. However, the long-term feeling of isolation is not her only problem. The real drama begins when, due to an absurd situation, he comes into conflict with his only companion – Robot. Then a real fight for life begins against a machine equipped with artificial intelligence, which becomes a greater threat to Ewa than the surrounding world. The main roles are: Magdalena Wieczorek and Jacek Beler.

“All hope lies in them” is the first Polish film dealing with the issue of climate change and its consequences. In our cinema, such issues are discussed very rarely. That’s why we really wanted the film to involve outstanding creators who, after reading the script, immediately felt that they were taking part in something important that we could give to viewers for whom climate and Earth issues are currently the most important.

– says producer Beata Pisula

Our film is not only an artistic and important message, but also a symbolic “red card” that the Earth may give us in the future if we do not start taking care of it. The problem of global warming, melting ice sheets, fires, irretrievably extinct animal species and mindless consumerism are already a real threat to our planet. How little time we have left and how great is the responsibility of us, the inhabitants of the Earth, towards the future generation

adds director Piotr Biedroń

All Hope in Them is the full-length feature debut of Piotr Biedroń, a recognized creator of short films and documentaries, who is also the author of the film’s script. The following people were involved in the project: Marek Zawierucha – set designer, Tomasz Wójcik – cinematographer, Łukasz Pieprzyk – music, Marceli Majer – editing and Bart Putkiewicz – sound. The film is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute. The producer of the picture is Beata Pisula – K&K Film Selekt. Galapagos Films is responsible for distribution in Poland .
