A comic book series based on the famous animated series Batman – The Animated Series has been run by DC Comics since 1995. That’s a lot of comics, and collecting them all is no small feat. Perhaps that’s why, or simply to celebrate the show’s thirtieth birthday, the creators decided to collect all these stories in one book – Batman Adventures Omnibus .
Those who pre-ordered the book were probably surprised – on the cover we can see a promotional image of the series from 1992, with the added information that it is a collection of comic books based on this animation. However, this is only a temporary artwork; the official cover was shared by Richard Starkings on his Facebook .
The comic book includes thirty-six Batman comics , two special birthday adventures, a Christmas comic, and stories from Batman: Black & White Omnibus . While reading this book, we will see the first appearance of Harley Quinn.
