The recent leaks have proven real, and the series of games about the writer Alan Wake is about to return soon. The announced title will be a refreshed version of the first production.
The title was announced by Remedy’s creative director Sam Lake via The Sudden Stop website. The game is expected to debut this fall on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC via Epic Games Store. Below is Lake’s twit on returning to Bright Falls.
What will be included in the refreshed version of the game? The remaster will include the basic version of Alan Wake along with the additions The Writer and The Signal . This version will not include Alan Wake’s American Nightmare . The title will be pulled up to 4K quality. Elements such as cutscenes will be improved, and the model of the main character will also undergo some changes. Sam Lake also promised that the team working on the game tried to keep as much of the original atmosphere as possible.
For the first time, Alan Wake hit the market in 2010 as an exclusive title for the Xbox 360 console. A few years later it also hit computers. Thanks to the refreshed version, the game will be available on Sony consoles for the first time.
