The latest film, directed by Guy Ritchie, has just hit the shelves thanks to the DVD and Bluray from Galapagos. I am talking of course about  Aladayna – this year’s remake of Disney’s animated film from 1992. This time, viewers can also count on an exciting story full of dizzying action, crazy humor, breathtaking landscapes, decorations and costumes. The official production description is as follows:

Aladdin (Mena Massoud) is a sweethearted street troublemaker who believes his fate as a thief will change someday. One day, in the streets of the city, he rescues Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott), the daughter of the Sultan (Navid Negahban), from the peril, who slipped out of the palace. The princess dreams to be able to discover the world, strive for the development of the Agrabahu kingdom and care for the well-being of its inhabitants. Unfortunately, her overprotective father does not allow her to do much and believes a successful marriage will bring happiness to her daughter. Meanwhile, the cunning sorcerer Jafar (Marwan Kenzari), the Sultan’s trusted advisor, the second person in the state, devises a plan to seize the throne. Coincidentally, Aladdin is involved in his plot, and Jafar uses him to obtain a magic oil lamp. The hero accidentally summons a Djinn (Will Smith) locked in her and thanks to his power he is turned into Prince Ali, who will be worthy to seek Jasmine’s hand. Aladdin and Genie become friends, and the princess succumbs to their charm. Together they set off on a dangerous and exciting journey, during which their self-confidence and mutual love will be put to the test.

Starring: Will Smith ( Men in Black ), Naomi Scott ( Power Rangers ) and Mena Massoud ( Jack Ryan series ). It is worth mentioning that the Blu-ray edition has been enriched with a considerable set of additional materials:
