Born in Łódź, the artist is a graduate of the Acting Department of the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Krakow. However, she has linked her career with dubbing.
Her role-showcase, as she claims, is the role of Princess Fiona – in the Polish edition a bit ennobled compared to the American original. She has lent a voice to countless figures, incl. in Gumisiach, Tabaluga, Hello, Franklin, Monsters and Co., Little agents, Like two drops of water, Pinocchio, 101 Dalmatians II, Finding Nemo, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlotte’s Web, iCarly, Long live King Julian, Marta says and much other. It would be difficult to list all the characters, but surely everyone who has watched films with Polish dubbing knows her voice.
Agnieszka herself says:
Princesses, princesses, little boys, little animals, and moms. I’ve been playing moms for some time. (…) But I must admit that the greatest fun for me is when the character I am to give my vote to is a bit complicated. He is even, I would say, a villain.
Games are also an important part of Agnieszka Kunikowska’s work. The most famous role is Triss Merigold in all parts of The Witcher. Other games include Mass Effect, Atlantis III: New World, Toy Story 3. He also works on the radio.
We wish you a hundred years and even more great dubbing roles.
