Get ready for PANDA-monium. No better way to celebrate National Panda Day than by announcing Jack Black’s return as Po in the new animated series, Kung Fu Panda: the Dragon Knight.
This is not the end, however. The creators also decided to provide us with a summary of the plot. In the new series, Po is wrongly accused of misusing a magic weapon while on a food tour of China. To clear his name, Po must join forces with an English knight and embark on an epic journey.
When a mysterious pair of weasels tracks down a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home and travel the world to fight for redemption and justice. On the way, he meets an extremely sensible English knight named Wandering Blade. Together, these two mismatched warriors embark on an epic adventure to find magic weapons and save the world from destruction. Maybe they’ll even learn something from each other along the way.
Jack Black is currently the only confirmed cast member. The producer of the series is DreamWorks Animation. It is not known yet when the premiere of the series will take place.
