Henry Cavill (Geralt), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer) and Freya Allan (Ciri) are actors who are irreplaceable for fans of the show because they play such important roles. Netflix production enthusiasts would also like to see the cast members they’ve gotten used to again. However, not everyone is sure that with the start of shooting for the third season of The Witcher , they will return to the set.
Adjoa Andoh, who plays the role of Nenneke, recently answered the question of whether she would be back on set with the start of the series:
I do not know we will see. The books are very long. There are so many different stories in them. Nenneke often appears in them. However, it all depends on the version in which the creators of the series present them. It’s mostly about what the creators will want to do with the source material, so wait and see.
It’s worth noting that season three is to be modeled on Time of Contempt , and Nenneke isn’t in that particular part, so we wouldn’t see a priestess in it anyway. Netflix, however, is not faithful to the books, often very different from the original, which can be seen very well in season two. It follows that although Nenneke does not have books in this part, it could still appear in the series, because the creators would expand the plot in some way.
Pictures for the new season are underway, so all you need to do is wait for any news and information from the developers.
