Having fun together
In the forest nursery, Mrs. Lisica – Matylda, the head of the patchwork family, which we know from the Mr. Badger and Mrs. Lisica series – will tell the readers about some of the most important emotions that characterize the life of a small and large person. Animals – children of Mrs. Lisica and Mr. Badger and their friends – by describing their stories, they will notice how emotions affect their everyday lives and relationships with others. Matilda patiently observes and instructs them; also draws attention to the great power of emotions, explains why they are used and suggests how to deal with them depending on the situation.
Glance
Those familiar with the Mr. Badger and Mrs. Fox series need no introduction. The reviewed volume contains a few short stories, the reading of which allows you to understand the emotions of the little characters. The colors are subdued, the graphics are cute, and the dialogues are simple. Undoubtedly, the comics from the Mr. Badger and Mrs. Lisica series can be read by the youngest readers on their own (according to the marking on the cover – My first comic 5+ ), but also with parents, who can use them to motivate themselves to talk to their children and discuss the emotions that determine behavior of young and old people.
Our little universe
So far we have seen many volumes in the series. We were delighted not only by the multi-volume story about the adventures of the patchwork family of Mr Badger and Mrs Lisica ( Meeting , Rozgardiasz , Ale Załoga!, Not a moment’s rest!, Carnival ) , but also a mini-series about the youngest daughter – Malinka . We were impatiently waiting for Luciani and Tharlet’s latest proposal, and it was worth it, although it’s hard to resist the impression that its content is somewhat reminiscent of smurf guides, e.g. The Smurf who thought everything was unfair , Smurfette is the same Smurf as the others or the Smurf who littered ,A Smurf who lost a friend … The role of Papa Smurf was taken over by Ms. Lisica, who captures children’s emotions in a similar way, explaining their sources and solutions aimed at controlling them. Luciani and Tharlet did not use the help of a psychotherapist, as did Thierry Culliford and Falzar inThe Smurfs and the World of Emotions, but this does not significantly affect the content of the volume, although it does not enrich it either. In conclusion – I recommend the latest volumeEmocjeto all parents and their charges due to valuable content and charming graphics.
