Game of Thrones stars Isaac Hempstead Wright, Kristian Nairn and Nathalie Emmanuel have opened an official tour for fans of the series. The tour takes place at one of the show’s original filming locations, Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, and allows fans of the series to enter iconic venues such as the Great Hall of Winterfell, see the throne of Daenerys Targaryen’s Dragonstone, or immerse themselves in props, weapons known from the screen. The official opening of the tour took place on February 4.
Julian Moon, Head of EMEA Warner Bros. Consumer Products, in a statement about the exhibition, said:
What an amazing honor today to open the door to the first-ever Game of Thrones sightseeing tour. This is the first time Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment has launched a world-class attraction in Northern Ireland where fans can experience up close and personal a wide variety of authentic sets, as well as an extensive collection of costumes, props and sets. We are extremely grateful for our collaboration with Linen Mill Studios who helped bring this idea to life with the attention to detail as well as the scale and depth of production that make this experience so unique and worthwhile. We’re proud to be part of the legacy of the beloved series, and we can’t wait for fans from all over the world to step inside and immerse themselves in all corners of the Seven Kingdoms and beyond.

Game of Thrones was eight seasons long and was broadcast on HBO in 2011-2019. A total of 73 episodes were created. In 2022, a prequel to the series will also appear – House of the Dragon .
