HBO presents the first teaser of “The Outsider,” based on Stephen King’s best-selling novel and screenplay by Richard Price.
HBO has just published the first teaser of the new series The Outsider based on the novel by Stephen King of the same name. The series will be based on a script by Richard Price, known for his work on the crime series Law of the Street and Długa Noc.
In the role of the main character of Ralph Anderson – a detective solving the mystery of a macabre murder, we will see Ben Mendelsohn (an Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor, he played in the TV series Bloodline and in the movie Player One ).
Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple ) also stars as Holly Gibney; Bill Camp (Emmy nominee, starring in Long Night ) as Howie Salomon; Mare Winningham (Oscar nominated) as Ralph’s wife Jeannie Anderson, Paddy Considine as Claude Bolton, Julianne Nicholson as Glory Maitland, Yul Vázquez as Georgia Bureau, Jeremy Bobb as Alec Pelley, Marc Menchaca as Jack Hoskins, Jason Bateman (Emmy and Golden Laureate) Globu) as Terry Maitland.

The Outsider season one will consist of 10 episodes. The premiere of the series on HBO is planned for January 12, 2020.
