The streaming service, giving us our first look at the return of Fry, Leela, Bender and their friends, plans to release new episodes later this summer. Earlier in the final series finale, Fry and Leela professed their love for each other in a world where time stood still, and at the last minute, the couple were saved by Professor Farnsworth. While it hasn’t been confirmed, it will be interesting to see if these events will be referenced in the upcoming season coming to Hulu.
It has been confirmed that the new installment will initially start with ten episodes that will be released weekly and another ten that will be released at a later date that has not yet been revealed. This will be the eleventh part of the series. As you can see from the footage posted by Hulu , some old favorites will return along with the main cast, such as Nibbler and an evil version of Santa Claus.
Futurama is set to return on July 24 this year!
