One of Disney’s beloved animations celebrates its 30th birthday! A special program will be broadcast on this occasion. Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration will be available on Disney+ starting December 16.
ABC and Disney surprised fans and released a poster promoting the new production. Starring Oscar-winning singer HER and Josh Groban (Emmy nominee). The special will first air on December 15 on ABC and the next day on Disney+.

What can we expect?
Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration will be a kind of homage to the original 1992 animation. Never before seen musical performances, sets and costumes will be presented. All inspirations were drawn from the beloved classic. Furthermore, this year’s Beauty and the Beast will be recorded in front of a live audience at Disney Studios as:
Part animation, part live performance, 100% Disney magic.
Joining the all-star cast of HER and Groban are Rita Moreno ( West Side Story ) as the narrator, Joshua Henry ( In the Heights) as Gastone and Martin Short ( Only Murders in the Building ) as Lumière.
