“A Plague Tale: Innocence” will have a sequel – it has just been shown

There had been rumors about the development of the Innocence  sequel for a long time, but with yesterday’s Xbox and Bethesda conference at E3, the rumors became a fact. Here comes  A Plague Tale: Requiem.

The sequel was introduced yesterday by developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Home Interactive. In the end, we could get to know not only the general plot of the production, but also see it in the first trailer, which we present below:

Like the first part,  A Plague Tale: Requiem seems to belong to the adventure action games with elements of survival horror. The title will be a direct continuation of the events of A Plague Tale: Innocence , which ended with the victory of Amica and Hug over the leader of the Inquisition, Vitalis. Hugo gained the power to control rats, but due to contributing to the death of the priest, his and his sister’s lives are still in danger.

The first installment of the game went on sale in 2019 and quickly – and to the surprise of many, it became one of the hits of the last generation.  A Plague Tale: Innocence  was not only a sales success after its release, but also a critical success with multiple awards and nominations. It was already known then that the story would be continued, but this was the first time we had seen it.

A Plague Tale: Requiem will be available for both PlayStation, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series X and PC consoles next year. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass user, that’s good news for you: the game will also make its debut as part of this subscription.
