The latest trailer for the “Game of Thrones” prequel has hit the web. The longest material so far brings quite a lot of plot closer.
Based on the book Fire and Blood , the series will take viewers to the past of Westeros. The production will be set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones . The plot will focus on the Targaryen family and the internal conflict over power.
The creator of this fantasy world – George RR Martin – has already watched the mostly completed series and shared his impressions on his blog. The author admitted that several elements of the plot had been changed for the purposes of the film adaptation. At the same time, he noted that it was still a story of his authorship, and not a loose interpretation. According to Martin, director Ryan Condal and his team of writers made the right choices.
Starring in The Dragon Family we will see Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno and Rhys Ifans. The production will debut on the HBO Max platform on August 21.
