Amazon Prime Video has released the latest trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power . The production, inspired by Tolkien's universe, will take viewers to the Second Age of Middle-earth.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power takes place a thousand years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings – Morgoth has been defeated, Numenor has not yet fallen, and Sauron is operating under the mask of a beautiful elf named Annatar.
The new trailer shows that we will be spending some time with the younger Galadriel, and that there are plenty of beautiful sights to see and new landscapes to explore.

Amazon’s new production is to have five seasons, in the first of which eight episodes are waiting for viewers. The premiere will take place on September 2 on Amazon Prime Video.
