A brand new playable character is coming to Overwatch  2 very soon  . Already today you can see a video presentation in which Ramattra’s interesting skills are demonstrated.

Another hero will join the Overwatch 2 roster  next month. Blizzard has released a new video of the character. Overwatch  2 ‘s newest competitor  is named Ramattra , and the developer has described him as the first ‘pace tank’ in the game. An interesting twist is that Ramattra will have both Omnic form and Nemesis form. Both provide the new hero with unique abilities. In the video,  Overwatch 2 concept artist Qiu Fang outlines the differences between the two forms, both in design and gameplay. Ramattra will launch on December 6, but those interested can already get an idea of what we can expect.

The gameplay video was shared by  Overwatch on Twitter and can be seen below:

As seen in the video, Ramattra uses a weapon called the Void Accelerator while in his omnic form. His secondary ability is Void Barrier. It is strong, but it lasts quite a while. Ramattra in Nemesis form is better at melee thanks to the extra armor. The main skill is Pummel, which is simply hitting enemies with powerful fists. The blows also unleash waves of energy that can pass through shields and damage multiple enemies at once. Nemesis form’s secondary skill is Block, which reduces damage taken from the front but slows down Ramattra and exposes his back to other enemies.

While many fans are apparently excited about Ramattra’s arrival, some are concerned that he may be too strong compared to the other heroes. The responses to the tweet above are filled with mixed feelings. In particular, Overwatch 2 players are  concerned about Pummel, who can break through shields.
