A new game based on the “Invincible” series has been announced

Ubisoft has announced that it is working with Skybound to create a video game based on the Invincible comic book series . The new installment will be called Invincible: Guarding the Globe.

Last year, Skybound confirmed that it was working on games related to the Invincible series , which has grown a lot in recent years, mainly thanks to the TV adaptation on Prime Video . Now Invincible  is about to finally break into the video game market thanks to a partnership with one of the most established publishers.

Revealed on the Ubisoft website that Invincible: Guarding the Globe will be coming to iOS and Android devices. The game is described as an RPG where you’ll be able to “collect characters, manage an attacking team and engage in battles – all within an original storyline.” Ubisoft unveiled it along with a video featuring characters like Atom Eve, Monster Girl, and Invincible himself.

You can watch the first trailer for Invincible: Guarding the Globe in the tweet below:

The full gameplay hasn’t been shown at this time, but Ubisoft says the game will feature various characters known from the series. Players will be able to create teams of five from the Invincible universe and develop their powers by gaining experience points and equipping various items. Guarding the Globe will also have a seasonal format, with each new season introducing an additional Invincible character to the game .

Watching the Invincible universe evolve from comic book to TV series and now to video game has been so exciting. Invincible is a multi-character narrative, it’s a multiplayer RPG with the ability to fight multiple battles at once. Ubisoft has done an amazing job recreating Invincible seamlessly for the small screen.
