In MultiVersus , the upcoming free game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, we will be able to fight with famous heroes from pop culture, from Scooby-Doo to Batman. The first posters did not show any characters from the JRR Tolkien universe, although the latest reports indicate that someone who comes from this world will join the game. Will it be Gandalf?
Twitter user @DwonkT noticed that the posters posted on the official MultiVersus game account contain an interesting detail. In one of them we can see a shape resembling the Eye of Sauron reflected in the water. The reflection is not accurate, although the authors added an eye emoticon in the description of Tweet, which clearly indicates that these are not just delusions.

Fans started arguing – if someone from Middle-earth comes into the game, who will it be? Who will be perfect for a game where combat is the basis of the gameplay? According to rumors, it will be Gandalf, who with his divine, unmatched powers could easily defeat opponents (although it would certainly be interesting to see Sam Gamgee equipped with a frying pan). The fact that Gandalf is probably the most recognizable character in the entire universe of Tolkien is certainly an advantage to this theory. Internet users suspect that it is only a matter of time before it is officially added to the game.
It is not yet known when MultiVersus will officially debut, but the beta version of the game is to be released this month, and no specific date has been given. MultiVersus will be available to play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
